How it all works if you're a voter

There are 2 ways to vote for the deli you love;

  1. ONLINE - simply click on the ‘VOTE NOW’ logo, find your favourite deli (or be the first to nominate the deli) and vote right now.
  2. IN-STORE - go to your local, participating deli and vote in person

IMPORTANT - Deli of the Year is not limited to a high street 'Deli' - you can nominate or vote for a Post Office or Village Shop with a little deli counter, or a fantastic rural farmshop...

Consumer Prize

One lucky deli voter will win an incredible foodie weekend in Dorset, including a day at Lesley Waters Abbot’s Hill Cookery School, accommodation and dinner at Plumber Manor, one of Dorset’s top Country House Hotel’s, and the opportunity to make your very own olive or dressing recipe to take home from  Olives Et Al!

Voting closes at midnight on 31st May

The comments and the reasons you give for voting for your favourite deli will be used as a part of the judging process to help shortlist winners - the judges are looking for a place with 'Deli Attitude' e.g. a place that chooses the food it supplies with great care, it supports you as the customer and is run with masses of enthusiasm.

A team of prestigious judges; including food journalists, food buyers and members of the Guild of Fine Food will make up the judging panel - keep an eye on the Deli of the Year website where we'll announce the names of this year's judges soon.

A selection of delis will be visited by the judging panel and after yet more rigorous scrutiny, 10 Regional Winners, and ultimately, one overall Deli of the Year 2012 Winner will be announced at the Great Taste Awards gala dinner in London in September.
